البروفيسور Beban Chumbow: المعرفة والبحث العلمي مفتاح تحسين جودة حياة المواطنين في أفريقيا

شارك البروفيسور Prof. Beban Sammy Chumbow ممثل عن المجلس الأفريقي للعلوم والبحث والابتكار “ASRIC“ فعاليات، اليوم ، النسخة الثالثة لمؤتمر الهندسة والمعلوماتية، والذى نظمته جامعة العبور للعلوم والتكنولوجيا.
أُقيم المؤتمر تحت شعار،”الهندسة والمعلوماتية لتمكين المجتمع الأفريقي والابتكار الشامل”.
وأكد فى ” Prof. Chumbow “فى تصريح خاص لموقع نافذة مصر أن المؤتمر يأتى هذا العام تحت عنوان الهندسة المرتبطة بالذكاء الاصطناعي والمعلوماتية، بهدف التأكيد على دور المعرفة والبحث العلمي في تحسين جودة حياة المواطنين داخل القارة.
وأوضح أن المؤتمر يُعد منصة مهمة تجمع الباحثين والمتخصصين لمناقشة أبرز القضايا العلمية، واستعراض نتائج أبحاث تدعم جهود التنمية في أفريقيا.
وأضاف أنه أجرى والوفد المرافق بزيارة معهد جامعة العبور أمس، للاطلاع على مركز نقل التكنولوجيا الأفريقي، حيث تم اعتماده للاتحاد الأفريقي، في خطوة تستهدف تعزيز استخدام العلوم والتكنولوجيا وتطبيق نتائج الأبحاث داخل المجتمعات بما يسهم في الارتقاء بمستوى المعيشة،مختتما كلمته بالتعبير عن تقديره وشكره للقائمين على المؤتمر.
Prof. Beban Sammy Chumbow, representing the African Scientific, Research and Innovation Council (ASRIC), participated today in the third edition of the Engineering and Informatics Conference, organized by Obour University for Science and Technology.
The conference was held under the theme: “Engineering and Informatics for Empowering the African Community and Inclusive Innovation.”
In an exclusive statement to Nafzat Misr website, Prof. Chumbow affirmed that this year’s conference focuses on engineering linked to artificial intelligence and informatics, with the aim of highlighting the role of knowledge and scientific research in improving the quality of life for citizens across the continent.
He explained that the conference serves as an important platform bringing together researchers and specialists to discuss key scientific issues and present research outcomes that support development efforts in Africa.
He added that he and the accompanying delegation visited Obour University Institute yesterday to review the African Technology Transfer Center, which has been accredited by the African Union—an important step aimed at strengthening the use of science and technology and applying research outputs within communities to help improve living standards.
He concluded by expressing his appreciation and gratitude to the organizers of the conference.
