اجتماع مشروع “WES-BCA “لاستعراض النشاط البيئي في فلسطين

نظم مشروع WES-BCA اجتماعًا تمهيديًا عبر الإنترنت للنشاط البيئي بعنوان: “دعم سلطة جودة البيئة في إعداد التقرير الوطني السابع لفلسطين الخاص باتفاقية الأمم المتحدة للتنوع البيولوجي”، وذلك في 10 سبتمبر 2025.

ويهدف النشاط إلى توفير الدعم الفني لفلسطين من أجل المواءمة مع اتفاقية التنوع البيولوجي، وإطار التنوع البيولوجي العالمي “كونمينغ-مونتريال”، والالتزامات المتوسطية المتعلقة بالتنوع البيولوجي، بما يسهم في الإعداد الفعّال للتقرير الوطني السابع المقرر تقديمه في فبراير 2026.

ويجري تنفيذ النشاط بالتعاون مع سلطة جودة البيئة في فلسطين، حيث عرض فريق خبراء مشروع WES-BCA خلال الاجتماع خطة عمل النشاط، وناقش أبرز القضايا المطروحة مع ممثلي أصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيين.

WES-BCA Project on Environmental Activity in Palestine

The WES-BCA Project held a preparatory online meeting for the environmental activity entitled: “Supporting the Environment Quality Authority in Preparing Palestine’s Seventh National Report to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity”, on 10 September 2025.

The objective of this activity is to provide targeted support to Palestine to align with the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, and Mediterranean biodiversity commitments, thereby contributing to the effective preparation of the Seventh National Report, which is due to be submitted in February 2026.

This activity is being carried out in cooperation with the Environment Quality Authority in Palestine. During the meeting, the WES-BCA environmental experts presented the activity’s work plan and discussed the key issues raised with main stakeholders.
