افتتاح معرض “التكنولوجيا السويسرية Swisstech” بمؤتمر المناخ COP27

افتتح اجنازيو كاسيس رئيس الكونفدرالية اجنازيو جناح الغرفة التجارية السويسرية ومعرضها التكنولوجى و الخاص بقطاع التكنولوجيا النظيفة” Swisstech” أثناء مؤتمر المناخ COP27 المنعقد في شرم الشيخ،حيث كان برفقته ماركو رومانو عضو بالبرلمان السويسري و المجلس القومي ومايا رينيكر عضوة فى المجلس القومي، و ممثلين عن الأمم المتحدة والحكومة المصرية و أعضاء من الغرفة التجارية السويسرية في مصر ومجلس إدارتها وممثلى الشركات السويسرية.
وحضر الافتتاح برتراند بيكارد رائد الأعمال السويسري ورئيس مؤسسة سولار إمبلس برتراند بيكارد،والذى تصدر عناوين الصحف في عام 2016 عندما توقفت الطائرة السويسرية التي تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية Solar Impulse 2 في مصر قبل أن تكمل أول رحلة طيران لها حول العالم.
يذكر أن SwissCham Egypt الغرفة التجارة السويسرية المصرية وهى منظمة غير هادفة للربح تخدم المصالح الخاصة بالعلاقات بين البلدين ، وقد قام جناح الـ SwissCham بعرض ابتكارات القطاع الخاص السويسري للمحافظة على البيئة.
ومن الجدير بالذكر أن مصر هي أكبر سوق تصدير لسويسرا في إفريقيا، وسويسرا هي ثامن أكبر مصدر للاستثمار الأجنبي في مصر، لذا فقد أكد رئيس سويسرا إجنازيو كاسيس فى كلمته الافتتاحية على زيادة الإنتاج المحلي للشركات السويسرية العاملة في مصر بدءا من المواد الغذائية والمشروبات ومرورا بالأدوية وانتهاء بالقطاع الصناعي، مما حفز على تطوير مجتمع أعمال قوي تجلى في إنشاء الغرفة التجارية في مصر مؤخرا.
الالتزام السويسري بالتكنولوجيا النظيفة = “التكنولوجيا السويسرية
ويضم جناح غرفة التجارة السويسرية المصرية أيضا معرضا عن قطاع التكنولوجيا النظيفة،حيث تعمل سويسرا بقوة على تعزيز الاستدامة وتحتل المرتبة الأولى بين أفضل 20 دولة في مؤشر أداء تغير المناخ، وقال ” كاسيس”: “أكثر من أي وقت مضى، نحن بحاجة إلى حلول عملية للوصول إلى أهدافنا المناخية وتقليل التأثير البيئي على البشرية”،ونحاول أن نرهبن على أننا ملتزون بهذا الهدف واننا على قدر المسؤولية، فاقتصادنا الديناميكي والمتنوع بارع في إيجاد الحلول الفعالة للمشكلات المعقدة،لذا نحن دائما نشجع الابتكار.”
واضاف أن الحلول المبتكرة للتكنولوجيا النظيفة لا تقدمها فقط الشركات السويسرية العالمية الكبيرة، حيث إن الشركات الناشئة والمشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة القوية التي تشكل 99٪ من القطاع الخاص السويسري لها دور في ذلك أيضا، مما يحفز النمو الناجح لهذه الصناعة،ويعمل معرض “ٍSwisstech” على تسليط الضوء على بعض مشاريع التكنولوجيا النظيفة التي تقدم حلولا متطورة في مجالات التنوع البيولوجي والطاقة والتنقل والنفايات والمياه.
President of the Swiss Confederation opens
SwissCham Pavillion and “swisstech” exhibition at COP2
, the President of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis, opened the SwissCham Pavilion and the “swisstech” exhibition on the Swiss cleantech sector at COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh. He was accompanied by two members of the Swiss parliament, National Councillor Marco Romano and National Councillor Maja Riniker. The inauguration took place in the presence of representatives of the United Nations and the Egyptian government, members of SwissCham Egypt and its Board of Directors, as well as representatives from Swiss companies.
;…The inauguration was also attended b Swiss pioneer and Chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation, Bertrand Piccard. Piccard made headlines in 2016, when the Swiss solar aircraft, Solar Impulse 2, made a stop in Egypt before completing its first flight around the world.
;SwissCham Egypt – the Swiss Egyptian Chamber of Commerce – is a non-profit organization serving the interests of Swiss and Egyptian business relations. At COP27, the SwissCham Pavilion showcases innovation in environmental preservation by the Swiss private sector.
span;>Egypt is Switzerland’s largest export market in Africa, and Switzerland is Egypt’s 8th biggest source of foreign investment. In his opening remarks at the inauguration, President of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis, emphasized the increase of local production by Swiss companies operating in Egypt, from the food and beverages to the pharma and the industrial sector, stimulating the development of a strong business community manifested in the newly established SwissCham Egypt.
;Swiss commitment to cleantech = “swisstech”
;The SwissCham Pavilion also features exhibition on the Swiss cleantech sector. Switzerland strongly promotes sustainability and consistently ranks among the top 20 countries on the Climate Change Performance Index. President Cassis stated that, “more than ever, we are in need of practical solutions to reach our climate goals and reduce humankind’s environmental impact”. He emphasized that “Switzerland demonstrates that it is committed to this objective, and that it is up to the task: our diversified and dynamic economy has a knack for finding effective solutions to complex problems – we have always encouraged innovation.”
;Innovative cleantech solutions are not only devised by big multinational Swiss companies but also start-ups and strong small and medium enterprises that make up 99% of the Swiss private sector, driving the industry’s successful growth. The “swisstech” exhibition serves to highlight some of those ventures in cleantech offering cutting-edge solutions in the areas of biodiversity, energy, mobility, waste and water.
