“طيران ناس” يحتفل برحلاته بين الرياض وجدة ومطار سفنكس بالقاهرة

احتفل طيران ناس، الناقل الجوي السعودي والطيران اﻻقتصادي الرائد في العالم والشرق الأوسط، أمس الإثنين بإطلاق رحلات مباشرة بين الرياض وجدة إلى مطار سفنكس الدولي في القاهرة.

ويعد طيران ناس أول ناقل جوي سعودي يدشن هذا المسار بين المملكة ومصر.

وأقيم الاحتفال في القاهرة بحضور سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى مصر، أسامة بن أحمد نقلي، والرئيس التنفيذي والعضو المنتدب لطيران ناس، بندر المهنا وممثلين لجهات حكومية في جمهورية مصر العربية.

وقال الرئيس التنفيذي والعضو المنتدب لطيران ناس، بندر المهنا: “نفخر كوننا أول شركة طيران سعودية تشغل رحلات مباشرة من الرياض وجدة إلى مطار سفنكس الدولي في القاهرة، في خطوة تنقل خططنا التوسعية في السوق المصرية إلى مستوى جديد. ففضلاً عن كون مصر سوق كبير للسفر والسياحة، فهي في الوقت نفسه بوابة لقارة إفريقيا، ما يدعم تنفيذ استراتيجيتنا في طيران ناس للنمو والتوسع في الوجهات والمسارات”. مشيراً إلى أن طيران ناس يشغل حالياً 128 رحلة أسبوعية مباشرة بين مصر والسعودية حيث يربط الطيران اﻻقتصادي السعودي الرائد البلدين برحلات مباشرة من 5 مدن سعودية، وهي الرياض وجدة والدمام والمدينة المنورة والعلا إلى القاهرة وسوهاج وشرم الشيخ والغردقة.  وأضاف: “أود أن أغتنم هذه الفرصة لأشكر الجهات المعنية عن الطيران المدني في كل من مصر والسعودية على دعمها لتعزيز الربط الجوي بين البلدين الشقيقين”.

وأصبح طيران ناس في يونيو الماضي، أول طيران سعودي يشغل خطاً مباشراً من مطار الملك عبد العزيز الدولي في جدة إلى مطار سفنكس الدولي في القاهرة عبر خمس رحلات أسبوعية، مما يجعل المطار وجهة طيران ناس الخامسة في مصر لتمضي الشركة قدماً في خططها التوسعية في السوق المصرية. قبل أن يضيف مسار جوي مباشر آخر إلى مطار سفنكس الدولي بخمس رحلات أسبوعية من مطار الملك خالد الدولي في الرياض

ويوفر الخطان المباشران من الرياض وجدة إلى مطار سفنكس الدولي بالقاهرة المزيد من الخيارات المناسبة للمسافرين بين البلدين، وذلك في إطار خطة التوسع التي أطلقها طيران ناس مطلع العام الماضي تحت شعار “نربط العالم بالمملكة”، تماشياً مع الاستراتيجية الوطنية للطيران المدني للوصول إلى 330 مليون مسافر و100 مليون سائح، وزيادة عدد الوجهات الدولية المرتبطة بالمملكة إلى أكثر من 250 وجهة بحلول عام 2030.

ويربط طيران ناس أكثر من 70 وجهة داخلية ودولية، عبر أكثر من 1500 رحلة أسبوعية، ونقل أكثر من 60 مليون مسافر منذ إطلاقه في عام 2007، ويستهدف الوصول إلى 165 وجهة داخلية ودولية، تماشياً مع أهداف رؤية السعودية 2030.

وتوج نجاح طيران ناس بالعديد من الجوائز الدولية، ومنها جائزة “سكاي تراكس” العالمية في 2023 للمرة السادسة على التوالي، وهي تعد أعلى جائزة تمنح في قطاع الطيران على المستوى العالمي منذ إطلاقها في عام 1999، مع تصنيفه كرابع أفضل طيران اقتصادي بالعالم، إضافة إلى جائزة “أفضل شركة طيران اقتصادي في الشرق الأوسط” في 2022، من مهرجان جوائز السفر العالمية للعام الثامن على التوالي.

كما حصل طيران ناس على أعلى تصنيف في تقييم أجرته منظمة “أبيكس” APEX غير الربحية، التي تعد من أكبر روابط شركات الطيران الدولية، حيث شمل التقييم 600 شركة طيران من مختلف الفئات حول العالم، وجاء طيران ناس في فئة أربعة نجوم، وهي أعلى فئة للطيران الاقتصادي.

flynas, the Saudi air carrier and the leading low-cost airline in the Middle East celebrated yesterday, Monday, 24th of July, being the first Saudi carrier to operate direct flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to Sphinx International Airport in Cairo and expanding its air connectivity network with Egypt.

The Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, HE Osama Bin Ahmed Nugali, flynas CEO and Managing Director, Bander Almohanna, and representatives of government entities in Egypt attended the celebration in Cairo.

“We take pride in being the first Saudi carrier to operate direct flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to Sphinx International Airport in Cairo, taking our expansion plans in the Egyptian market to a new level. Egypt is a huge market, and at the same time, it is a gateway to Africa, giving flynas a remarkable edge as we pursue our growth and expansion strategy in destinations and routes,” said Bander Almohanna, CEO and Managing Director of flynas. He points out that flynas now operates 128 weekly direct flights between Egypt and the Kingdom as the leading Saudi LCC connects the two countries with direct flights from 5 Saudi cities, namely Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Medina, and Al-Ula to Cairo, Sohag, Sharm El-Sheikh, and Hurghada. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Egyptian and the Saudi Civil Aviation authorities for supporting our drive to enhance air connectivity between the two countries,” he added.

On last June, flynas became the first Saudi carrier to operate a direct route from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to Sphinx International Airport in Cairo with five weekly flights, making the airport its fifth destination in Egypt as the company moves forward with its expansion plans in the Egyptian market.

Two weeks later, flynas started operating another direct air service to Sphinx International Airport with three weekly flights from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

The two routes offer more affordable options for travellers between the two countries as part of the expansion plan launched early last year under the slogan “We Connect the World to the Kingdom,” in line with the National Civil Aviation Strategy to reach 330 million passengers and 100 million tourists, and to increase the number of international destinations connected to the Kingdom to more than 250 destinations by 2030.

flynas connects more than 70 domestic and international destinations with more than 1500 weekly flights and has flown more than 60 million passengers since its launch in 2007, with the aim to reach 165 domestic and international destinations, in line with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030.

The success of flynas was recognized with many international awards, including Skytrax International Award as the Best Low-cost Airline in the Middle East in 2023 for the sixth time in a row and the 4th Best LCC worldwide. It is the highest worldwide award in the aviation sector since its launch in 1999.

Meanwhile, flynas won the Best Low-cost Airline Award in the Middle East from the World Travel Awards in 2022 for the eighth year in a row.

In an assessment by the non-profit organization APEX, one of the most significant international airline associations, which included 600 airlines of various categories worldwide, flynas came in the four-star category, the highest category for low-cost airlines worldwide.
